Reforms in field of agriculture

According to latest amendments, Armenian government implements vast variety of subsidiary programs for agriculture.

Starting from January 2020 government subsidizes 50 % of the expenses made by farmers for the construction of intensive gardens. Intensive gardens have to be covered by anti-hail nets and equipped with drip irrigation system.

For the construction of grape vines government provides with the loan with discounted annual interest rate of only 2%. For the gardens with the area of 3 hectare or more, the interest rate will be discounted till 0 %.

Repayment period – up to 8 years, grace period – 5 years,

Loans are provided for 0.5 to 10 hectares of vineyards and intensive orchards and 0.5 – 3 hectares of orchards.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
